Barley is the van equivalent of a loyal golden retriever — steady, warm, and genuinely excited every time you open the door.
Barley was the first van we ever built, and he remains the soul of the fleet.
He started life as a hardworking VW Transporter. We rebuilt him with as much upcycled material as we could, to the highest standard. The interior woodwork is made from reclaimed whisky crates, and the shower is a genuine whisky barrel. There are dedicated bottle holders, a set of proper tumblers, and he’s always ready with ice when you return from a distillery.
Two e-bikes live on the back, ready for responsible runs between distilleries.
Barley doesn’t need to shout. He just works — beautifully, reliably, and with a lot of heart. He’s the van people come back to. The one that somehow always feels like home, no matter where you park him. The van that makes you want to stay out one more night.
